Now you’ve almost broken up for the holidays, it’s important you do your best to recharge and relax before the 2015 working year begins. Most people have to go the extra mile for their employers during December as they’re trying to tie everything up before Christmas. That means you’re probably feeling quite stressed at the moment. There are lots of products out there that can help you to unwind, but some are better than others. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a lot of money to spend as none of our suggestions cost much. It’s also a good idea to come up with activities you enjoy. At the end of the day, you’ll want to spend as much time as possible with your family. So, it’s a good idea to plan ahead.
Get a TV for your bathroom
Technology has progressed a lot over the last few years, and waterproof televisions have become a lot cheaper than they once were. Getting one for your bathroom could mean you have an easier time relaxing. We all know how nice a long hot bath can be. Well, imagine how much more content you will feel if you can watch Christmas movies while having a soak. Just fix a lock to your bathroom door, climb into the tub and switch the TV on. Your family aren’t going to miss you for a couple of hours.
Buy an eReader
If you enjoy reading books, you might benefit from purchasing an eReader this Christmas. Websites that provide publications for those devices usually have a number of free titles available. So, you don’t even have to spend money on getting the books you love. Of course, you’ll have to purchase many of the top releases, but prices are much lower than you might expect. For premium eBooks, you can expect to pay somewhere in the region of 2-5 dollars/pounds.
Create a games room in your home
Presuming you have some spare space, you could find a games room very relaxing. All you need is some comfortable chairs and some interesting products. Some people like to play games like pool and snooker. If that appeals to you, you’ll find some amazing deals online. Others prefer to use consoles like the new PlayStation 4. Most games units have come down in price recently, which is why now is the best time to invest. To make your games room even better, you could go the extra mile and purchase a Human Touch iJoy Massage Chair. While there are many similar items on the market, none has received such fantastic buyer reviews.
If none of those ideas help you to relax, it might be worth going to see your family doctor. We’re not advocating the use of medication, but they might have some extra recommendations that could help.
When all’s said and done, you don’t want to feel wound up when sat around the dinner table on December 25th. So, it’s wise to start thinking about what you can do to unwind as soon as possible.

Technology has become a vital part of our daily lives. We use it for everything from socialising with our friends to contacting our business colleagues. The average person typically has at least three different pieces of tech that they carry around with them on a daily basis. But, hardly anyone ever bothers to protect their technology. It seems absurd when you’re carrying around close to two thousand dollars in gadgets. Not to mention the personal info you might be storing on each device. Here are the steps we recommend you take when protecting your tech.
Step 1: Use Passwords And Even Some Encryptions
We know that many people don’t bother with locks on their phones or their tablets. It just makes them more annoying to access quickly. But, you should always keep locks on your pieces of tech, particularly if you are storing information on them. A criminal can get a lot done just by having access to your browser history, your name and your contact list. You wouldn’t believe the amount of information that is stored on your laptop, without you even realising it. Unless you know how to erase it, every password that you have ever used on your computer is stored on your hard drive.
Step 2: Permanent Delete
If you have a laptop, you may think that to delete files all you need to do is click delete. It ends up in the recycling bin and that is eventually emptied so the file is gone for good right? Wrong, again the file still exists in a hidden folder on your hard drive. People fuss all the time about deleted files. But unless you have used a permanent delete programme the file exists, completely hidden but easily accessed. This can be problematic if you have deleted sensitive information that is still on your computer when you recycle it.
Step 3: Protective Covers
Laptops, tablets and phones, in particular, are not as sturdy as they look. Without a good case, one drop can make them completely unusable. It can seem like the luck of the draw as well. You might see an Iphone 6 drop from around two metres on a hardwood floor and have no damage. Another could shatter into a million pieces. There is no way to tell which is going to happen so you should use an Iphone 6 case. The same goes for laptops and tablets. Remember, if the seller things you have been responsible for damaging your tech, your warranty is void.
Step 4: Track It
The most famous form of tracking is probably the track my phone app. This can be used for any Apple device and it is particularly handy when you have lost your phone. You can use the app to get the phone to send out a noise or single to alert you of it’s where abouts. What you may not know is that you can set up the same type of service on almost any modern laptop. That way, you’ll always be able to locate a missing device.
We hope you take this advice on board. Remember, it’s not just about protecting your financial assets. It’s about keeping your personal information safe.
